Which format gives everyone the most games?
Round robin gives each entry one match against every other entry. Eight entries play seven matches each, for 28 matches total.
Which format finishes fastest?
Single elimination has the fewest matches: one less than the number of entries. Eight entries need seven matches. Use the duration calculator to check how playing areas and rest affect the finish.
Can I switch formats after recording results?
Start a new bracket with the same teams. The original bracket and its results remain intact. Changing a draw after play begins can change which matches and results are valid.
