A first loss moves an entry into the losers bracket. A second loss eliminates it. The winners-bracket champion meets the surviving one-loss entry in the championship.
When is a second final needed?
Under the default rule, the unbeaten finalist needs one win. If the one-loss finalist wins the first final, both finalists have one loss and play a deciding match. The optional one-final rule must be announced before play.
Can I make a bracket with six or twelve teams?
Yes. Enter any whole number from 2 through 64. Empty first-round slots become byes, which advance entries without a match or a loss. Top seeds get byes in a seeded draw.
Can I correct a result?
Yes. If a different winner changes later matchups, the editor tells you how many recorded results must be cleared and asks for confirmation. It keeps the previous results available to restore.
